Hannie Schaft was a WW2 Dutch Resistance fighter who became #1 on the Nazi Most Wanted list.
Together with the Oversteegen sisters, Schaft would seduce Nazis in bars and bring them out to the forest to be ambushed. Known as ‘the girl with the red hair’, she was only 24 when she was captured and executed.
Hannie Schaft is recognized as Righteous Among the Nations, a title honouring those who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust.

Hannah Szenes refused to wear a blindfold when she was executed by a Nazi firing squad, insisting on facing her killers in her final moments.
The young Jewish poet was only 23 when she was captured and tortured after parachuting into Nazi-occupied Europe. She had volunteered for a Special Operations mission to help the resistance rescue Jews during the Holocaust.
